The crappie bite is starting to pick up. Most of the fish we’re catching are around trees using minnows under slip corks. The action can slow down at times, which is normal this time of year as the fish move through their transition. We’re not catching big numbers yet, but the ones we’re landing are quality slabs. Water temperatures are about 61–62 degrees on the main lake and 65–67 in the backs of pockets. The water has a light stain. Hope to see y’all on the water.
